Out of the 1297 players to brave the sands at São Paulo, only two emerged with unscathed 9-0 records. Ricardo Camargo and Silva Maciel Julio are both playing with counterspells to support their beatdown strategies, but have drastically different takes!

Stubborn Denial FTW!

Camargo's threat dense Temur Aggro deck is working well for him, while Julio's weapon of choice was Bant Heroic, a deck popularized by Tom Ross and Ross Merriam. More interestingly, Camargo has done it with only thirteen cards in his sideboard. Watch this space for the upcoming Deck Tech that will explain this bizarre phenomenon!

Also lurking near the top of the standings are two players at 8-0-1. Renato B Wohlers is the best performing Esper Dragons player, while Fabio Barroso leads the Abzan Houses with his Control deck. Here are the 4 decklists for your perusal! Enjoy!
