Of all the 1,043 players just three managed to escape Saturday's grueling nine rounds with unblemished records. Christian Seibold, Oskar Sköld, and Einar Agust Baldvinsson all went 9-0, and they all used different decks to achieve that feat. Seibold was running the Sultai deck based around key components Sidisi, Brood Tyrant and Whip of Erebos, while Baldvinsson piloted Temur Aggro—two decks which only really got popular after the Pro Tour. Oskar Sköld played Abzan Midrange, the most well-established archetype in the line-up.

By the way, you may notice the "unusual" card choice of "4 Temple of Malice" in Sköld's Abzan deck. Although he clearly intended to list Temple of Malady and was in fact playing Temple of Malady, Temple of Malice was what he wrote on his decklist, unfortunately earning Sköld a game loss.
