The 9-0 Decks of Grand Prix Turin 2017

When the smoke and dust had settled on Saturday and the sounds of battle had died down for the night, four players were left who escaped the first day's nine rounds with perfect records of 9-0 still intact: Alessandro Aristei, Alain Bardini, Bart van Etten, and Andrea Sonzogni (pictured below, left to right).

Several noted experts had predicted that Ramunap Red was due to rise to the top again, even if it wasn't expected to happen this early in the tournament. In any case, and whatever the mechanism at play here, the card Ramunap Ruins did end up having ten copies go 9-0 ...
