The Magic Online Player of the Year Event is on the horizon—specifically, the horizon of Saturday, December 13, at 7:00 a.m. Pacific (UTC -8). The top 150 players on the Constructed and Limited Player of the Year Standings Pages will be invited to compete in a battle of wits, courage, and Khans of Tarkir Sealed. Only the best will walk away with the title of Magic Online Player of the Year!

On Thursday, November 27, the Wizards of the Coast office will be closed in observation of Thanksgiving. With most of the office out for the holiday, there will not be any updates made to the Known Issues List and there will not be a Bug Blog released.
Next week, on Wednesday, December 3, a new build of the Magic Online client will be deployed during the downtime. Refer to the Known Issues List to see what fixes are scheduled for that deployment.
The sound of rustling feathers lingers on the breeze and Thanksgiving is right around the corner. Yes, the signs are all here—the Poultrygeist is upon us! Now, let's talk turkey. Fowl Play 2: Poultrygeist Returns is everyone's favorite bird-themed Wacky Draft, featuring all of Magic's most avian-friendly sets. The Poultrygeist Returns on Wednesday, November 26, after the downtime and runs until Monday, December 1, at 10:00 a.m. Pacific (UTC -8).

After the downtime on Wednesday, November 26, Theros 4-3-2-2 Queues will be retired from Magic Online.
The Holiday Magic Online Judge Open (MOJO) is coming up on Saturday, December 27, at 1:00 p.m. Pacific (UTC -8). The MOJO is an event where Magic Judges from far and wide come together to compete in a tournament to see who has the best dueling chops.
- All tournaments will close Wednesday, November 26, at 5:00 a.m. Pacific (13:00 UTC)
- Store and trade activity will be suspended at approximately 7:45 a.m. Pacific(15:45 UTC)
- The system will be down from 8:00 a.m. Pacific (16:00 UTC) until 12:00 p.m. Pacific (20:00 UTC)
