「Daily Deck」統率者戦特集へようこそ！ 今週は、マジック開発部のみんなのお気に入りの統率者戦用デッキをご紹介していきます。本日ご紹介するのはマーク・グローバス/Mark Globusのお気に入りデッキで、《歩く墓場、髑髏茨》を活かすものです。マークはウィザーズ・オブ・ザ・コースト社のゲーム・デザイン・アーキテクトです。「グレート・デザイナー・サーチ（リンク先は英語）」で優れた成績を収めた彼は、2006年からウィザーズ社員となったのでした。
マークはいつも、統率者戦ではゴルガリを使って楽しみます。その高い汎用性に惹かれているそうです。大量の除去に強力なクリーチャー、そしてカード・アドバンテージを生み出す数多の手段を持つゴルガリは、統率者戦における強みを本当にたくさん持っています。マークのデッキは、そんなゴルガリ・デッキの中でも特に、あらゆる場面で＋１/＋１カウンターを生み出すことに力を入れたものです。彼の統率者、《歩く墓場、髑髏茨》は、マジック最初の『統率者』製品のデベロップ・チームを率いた彼が、自身でデザインしたカードなのです。
《歩く墓場、髑髏茨》は実に強力な統率者で、多くのプレイヤーにプレッシャーを与えます。統率者戦は基本的に多人数で行われるため、《歩く墓場、髑髏茨》が戦場に出たときに無防備なプレイヤーが少なくともひとりいる可能性は十分に期待できるでしょう。このカードはかなり早い段階で戦場へ飛び出し、統率者ダメージを与えてゲームを終わらせにかかります。さらにトランプルを付与する手段（個人的には《怨恨》がいいと思います）も合わせれば、チャンプ・ブロックすら無意味になるのです。
今年の３月、統率者戦のルールに大きな変更が加えられました。以前は、統率者が《送還》や《奉納》を受けると、手札に戻ったりライブラリーに混ぜられたりしました。今回のルール変更により、統率者が手札やライブラリーへ行く場合、置換効果として統率者領域に置くことを選べるようになったのです。そしてこのルール変更は、《歩く墓場、髑髏茨》をより強力なものにしました。このカードに置かれている＋１/＋１カウンターは、これを統率者領域へ戻すことを選んでいる限り残り続けるのです。
マークのデッキは、消耗戦にめっぽう強い形になっています。一度に多くのパーマネントを除去する、対戦相手より多くの＋１/＋１カウンターをクリーチャーに置く、あるいは単純に追加の土地をプレイできるようにするなど、デッキのカードはすべて何らかの形で価値を生むものです。これらは、多人数戦でこそ輝きます。複数の対戦相手と戦う際に欠かせないのは、広範囲に影響が及ぶカードです。このデッキには、そうしたカードが満載なのです。

こんにちは、皆さん。今年の「Daily Deck」は今回で最後です。本日ご紹介するのは、『戦乱のゼンディカー』で登場した新たなメカニズム「昇華者」を用いたモダンのデッキです。「昇華者」メカニズムといえば《不毛の地の絞殺者》がスタンダードで活躍を見せ始めていますが、それを用いたモダンのデッキを目にするのは初めてです。
