現在 25点の大塚と 24点の岡本、ここで勝ったほうが決勝進出を確定させる重要な一戦。普段日本橋を拠点にしている大阪の古豪、岡本は今まで結果を出せなかったのが不思議なの実力者である。果たして今回こそは結果を残すことが出来るのか。そして大塚はBig Cupを制した実力をここでも発揮することが出来るであろうか。
Game 1
先手岡本。 2 ターン目《幻影の遊牧の民/Phantom Nomad》を召喚。大塚は返すターンで《ドルイドの収穫者/Harvester Druid》を召喚するが、岡本は《霊力/Psionic Gift》を《幻影の遊牧の民》つけて即座に除去。何とか攻め手を途切れさせまいと大塚は《狂犬/Mad Dog》を召喚する。しかし岡本は《秘教の盲信者/Mystic Zealot》をキャストすることでこれに対抗した。
そして大塚はただでさえ旗色が悪いこの状況で土地が3枚でストップしてしまう。他にすることも無いのでメインから入っている《抵抗の誇示/Flash of Defiance》を撃ってとりあえず殴りに行くのだが岡本は土地をセットできないのを見るやいなや2体ののクリーチャーで攻撃を仕掛け《狂犬/Mad Dog》に《追い返し/Repel》を撃つ。次のターンでで返された《狂犬》を出すことしかやることが無い大塚は岡本が《鏡の壁/Mirror Wall》をキャストするのを見ると早々に投了を宣言した。

Game 2
両者1回のマリガンを経てゲームが始まった。 2 ターン目、岡本がまたも《幻影の遊牧の民》を召喚。大塚は《蛮族の狂人/Barbarian Lunatic》を出し、 4 ターン目攻撃に行くことで《幻影の遊牧の民/Phantom Nomad》との相打ちを取りに行く。返しで岡本は《秘教の盲信者/Mystic Zealot》を呼ぶのだが、大塚はここで手札と土地が噛み合わず何も出来ないままターンエンド。今のうちだと言わんばかりにキャストした《鏡の壁》と《秘教の盲信者》が青白とは思えない勢いで大塚のライフを削りさらに《司令官イーシャ/Commander Eesha》まで場に出す。大塚も遅ればせながら《熟達の戦士ジェスカ/Jeska, Warrior Adept》を出し何とか《鏡の壁》との相打ちを取ったりしているのだが岡本の場にいるクリーチャーは全てタフネス4以上のため手札にある《降り注ぐ塊炭/Shower of Coals》でさえ一体も除去することができない。数ターン後何とか地上のクリーチャーはブロッカーを出して止めきったものの、その時点で大塚の残りライフは６。結局《司令官イーシャ》がどうにもならず大塚のライフはあっさりと削られた。
