世界はアブザンとジェスカイで廻っている！
とはもちろん大幅な誇張表現ですが、超局地的には、少なくともマジック：ザ・ギャザリングのスタンダードトーナメントシーンでは、そう言っても良さそうな状況なのも事実。
プロツアー『タルキール覇王譚』にて、アリ・ラックス/Ari Laxが「アブザン・ミッドレンジ」で優勝してからおおよそ２ヶ月。
地域のショップ大会から週末のプレミアイベントに至るまで、この２種類のデッキが上位に来なかったことはほとんどないでしょう。
それもそのはずで、生半可なデッキでは軽量クリーチャーと火力のコンビネーション、もしくはカードパワー重視な《包囲サイ》の前に軽く捻られてしまうのです。
ですが、この２種類にあらずばデッキにあらず、となっているのでもありません。
プレイヤーはあの手この手でこの双璧に立ち向かう新デッキをトーナメントに持ち込み続けており、そして成果を残しているのです。
今週はそんなスタンダードでの非主流派デッキを紹介していこうと思います。
まずはチーム「Cabin Crew」がグランプリ・ストックホルム2014に持ち込み、ルーカス・ブロホン/Lukas Blohonがトップ８入賞を果たした黒緑星座デッキから。
アブザンに対してはより遅く、太くという戦略。《開花の幻霊》という引き増し手段から《女王スズメバチ》という明確なゴール地点を用意しています。
ジェスカイに対しては、メインはなんとか《エレボスの鞭》にたどり着ければ。空への追加対策として、しっかりサイドボードで《高木の巨人》を４枚積み。きっちり飛行クリーチャーからのライフ喪失を許さない構成になっています。

こんにちは、皆さん。今年の「Daily Deck」は今回で最後です。本日ご紹介するのは、『戦乱のゼンディカー』で登場した新たなメカニズム「昇華者」を用いたモダンのデッキです。「昇華者」メカニズムといえば《不毛の地の絞殺者》がスタンダードで活躍を見せ始めていますが、それを用いたモダンのデッキを目にするのは初めてです。
