今週のテーマとして私が用意したのは、「アブザンとジェスカイに勝てそうな、それ以外のデッキ」でした。
相手よりも重厚、そもそも速度無視、墓地利用という別のコンセプト。
それとは別のアプローチとして、「目標のデッキに限りなく近いが、何かが少ない or 多い」というのもあります。
とても古い話になりますが、カイ・ブッディが当時青単色が主流だった「イリュージョン・ドネイト」に赤を足してプロツアーを優勝したという話などは、この類型の「○○が多い」という話になりますね。
チェコのプラチナ・プロ、マーティン・ジュザ/Martin Juzaがグランプリ・ストックホルムに持ち込んだのは、この類型の「○○が少ない」デッキ、アブザンから緑が少ないデッキなのです。
色を足すメリットについては容易に想像ができると思います。
単純に思いつくのは「違う色のカードが使える」「サイドボードが豊富にある」といったところでしょうか。
では色を少なくするメリットとは。ジュザの白黒デッキを見る限り、それは
の２つ。それにアブザンで見られたカードのスロット過多、「使いたいカードは多い一方で、スロットが足りずに仕方なく３枚や２枚差し」になっている部分の解消も。
《包囲サイ》が抜けた分、ジェスカイに対してデッキの統一感で戦い。アブザンに対しても土地の立ち上がりがスムーズな同型として戦う。
これも１つのアブザン、ジェスカイを倒す戦略でしょうね。

こんにちは、皆さん。今年の「Daily Deck」は今回で最後です。本日ご紹介するのは、『戦乱のゼンディカー』で登場した新たなメカニズム「昇華者」を用いたモダンのデッキです。「昇華者」メカニズムといえば《不毛の地の絞殺者》がスタンダードで活躍を見せ始めていますが、それを用いたモダンのデッキを目にするのは初めてです。
