Who did you prepare with?

I didn't. Well, I watched the Australians play Standard and Draft.

What Constructed deck are you playing and why?

Red-Green Dragons. It rewards getting lucky the most.

What Standard deck, other than any you’re playing, impressed you the most this weekend?

Blue-based Dragon decks.

What decks did you draft? What did you think of each deck?

Red splashing War Flare and Blue-Red Aggro. They were fun to play #turnonezurgo.

What would winning the Pro Tour mean to you?

Lots of selfies with my trophy.

Shota Yasooka

Age: 30

2006 Player of the Year.

Who did you prepare with?

No one.

What Constructed deck are you playing and why?

Blue-Black. I like Dragons.

What Standard deck, other than any you’re playing, impressed you the most this weekend?

No other decks.

What decks did you draft? What did you think of each deck?

Blue-black and red-green.

What would winning the Pro Tour mean to you?

I'm happy.

Marco Cammilluzzi

Age: 28

Hometown: Rome, Italy

Limited Record: 5-1

Constructed Record: 7-1-2

Favorite Dragon: Dragonlord Atarka

Previous Magic accomplishments:

Three Grand Prix Top 8s. Some Top 25 and Top 50 finishes at the Pro Tour.

Who did you prepare with?

Day1MTG and "Italian Family."

What Constructed deck are you playing and why?

Abzan Control. It's just really consistent and powerful.

What Standard deck, other than any you’re playing, impressed you the most this weekend?

Blue-Black Control. It looks insane against midrange decks.

What decks did you draft? What did you think of each deck?

"Black-Green Rares." The deck was insane and I went 2-1. Then, red-green splashing Dromoka. The deck was really solid.

What would winning the Pro Tour mean to you?

Make a dream come true.

Thomas Hendriks

Age: 22

Hometown: Leiden, the Netherlands

Limited Record: 5-1

Constructed Record: 7-2-1

Favorite Dragon: Ojutai…not Atarka, of course

Previous Magic accomplishments:

Played the World Magic Cup twice and made it to the Top 16 last year. Top 8 at Grand Prix Antwerp 2013.

Who did you prepare with?

"Frank Karsten and the Karstens" a.k.a. Cabin Crew.

What Constructed deck are you playing and why?

Red-Green Devotion. To beat mono-red and all the Abzan Midrange decks. (Where are all the mono-red decks?)

What Standard deck, other than any you’re playing, impressed you the most this weekend?

The mono-red deck of our team, but not in a good way. Having good players with a ~40% win percentage is pretty impressive.

What decks did you draft? What did you think of each deck?

Blue-black, which was pretty good but lost horribly to Merciless Executioner and Swift Warkite to go 2-1. Then, "Red/Green Elks" with three Stampeding Elk Herds because they are so damn good. 3-0.

What would winning the Pro Tour mean to you?

An even better ending to what looked to become a horrible Pro Tour. Also, my best Magic performance of course!

What Constructed deck are you playing and why?

Esper Dragons. Dragon-benefit spells were impressive in testing.

What Standard deck, other than any you’re playing, impressed you the most this weekend?

Red-Green Devotion.

What decks did you draft? What did you think of each deck?

Blue-Black Tempo, missing some key cards but overall pretty good, and an amazing Red-White Aggro deck.

What would winning the Pro Tour mean to you?

A great birthday present/achievement.

Adrian Sullivan

Age: 38

Hometown: Madison, Wisconsin

Limited Record: 6-0

Constructed Record: 6-2-2

Favorite Dragon: Thundermaw Hellkite or Fledgling Dragon

Previous Magic accomplishments:

Tied for Top 8 at Pro Tour New York '99, two Grand Prix Top 8s, many other minor wins.

Who did you prepare with?

Team Ultra PRO.

What Constructed deck are you playing and why?

Blue-Black Control; I think Blue-Black Control has been the best archetype since Pro Tour Khans of Tarkir, and my version was the best I could find.

What Standard deck, other than any you’re playing, impressed you the most this weekend?

Mono-Red Aggro (no Atarka's Command).

What decks did you draft? What did you think of each deck?

First, an aggressive white-black deck with a splash of blue, then Red-White Aggro. The first deck was good, the second was incredible.

The culmination of 22 years of living Magic.

Red-Green Dragons seemed like a strong deck.

What decks did you draft? What did you think of each deck?

Both times Red-White Aggro. They were both really good.

What would winning the Pro Tour mean to you?

Everything.

Top 8 at Pro Tour Khans of Tarkir

Who did you prepare with?

Cabin Crew.

Red-Green Devotion. Because Atarka!

What Standard deck, other than any you’re playing, impressed you the most this weekend?

The Abzan deck with Atarka. Man, that card is sweet.

What decks did you draft? What did you think of each deck?

First, a terrible blue-black deck. I hoped to go 2-1, should have gone 3-0. Then a very good red-green for an easy 3-0.

What would winning the Pro Tour mean to you?

A spot at the World Championship. And eternal fame of course.
