濾色地超讚的。它們本身只能產出無色魔法力,但只要你擁有一點每張濾色地所能產出的其中一種有色魔法力,你就可以開始做生意了。這循環中的每張地都要求支付所屬兩種可能顏色的任何一點魔法力,並產出兩點可支付的顏色之魔法力的任意組合(例如,Cascade Bluffs需求藍或紅來產出藍藍、藍紅或是紅紅)。
這可不得了,尤其當你考慮到這些地不需橫置進場,所以在你的套牌中放入濾色地所要付出的代價相對偏低,而它所能帶來的補正非常具有彈性。需要注意的是,只有循環中的對色濾色地將會發行。臨色地還不到登場的時候。
讓我們回到闇影荒原/暮光的時代,濾色地能讓你減少有色魔法力源的數量以施放一些真正的強牌:
除非你只玩兩色,不然誰有辦法拿出這麼多有色魔法力來施放這些東西?多虧濾色地,你才能相對容易地施放這些雙色、甚至三色的卡片。你有興致的話甚至可以嘗試混進一張 Doomgape。
即便你在第七回合之前都不會施放它…別這樣,有夢最美嘛。
毋庸置疑,你用Cascade Bluffs所能施放最讚的東西就是Cruel Ultimatum了。
回到阿拉若斷片還在標準賽之中的時代,看到Cruel Ultimatum、Wrath of God、Cryptic Command以及Cloudthresher一起並肩作戰是很稀鬆平常的。如果沒有我們的好夥伴Cascade Bluffs和Flooded Grove 的幫忙,這一切不可能發生,因為將一張海島轉為兩點綠色魔法力對於一張地牌來說是一個無比強大的異能。
當然了,Cruel Ultimatum 並沒有消失在地球表面上,並且仍然在近代賽中活躍著。如果你能夠慢慢地、確實地粉碎對手的希望和夢想,何必要贏的那麼快呢?

這副套牌的目標在於能夠盡早並經常性地施放Cruel Ultimatum,並且有足夠的干擾手段可以選擇來確保你活到成功施放的那一刻。這玩起來很有意思,而如果你從來沒享受過抽三張牌並且讓對手棄三張(再加上一些其他的樂子),那麼你真的應該試試看。
當然了,除了Cruel Ultimatum之外這些地牌還有著許許多多的用途,而我期待它們能夠很常在指揮官、以及全世界的遊戲桌上出現。魔法風雲會 在所有玩家都能成功施放它們的咒語時無疑地會更加有趣,無論那些咒語有多麼的貪得無厭,而濾色地讓這一切成為可能。
