Captain! Looks like our sensors have detected an incoming fleet of previews from Magic: The Gathering® | Star Trek™. Readings indicate that we can expect Star Trek's captains, starships, and stories to make their appearance in Magic. We've already crossed paths with a few crew members and chronicled our encounters in the set's card image gallery, but now we're warping straight into the Star Trek universe!

Our vessel will make contact with this spacefaring set on October 20, 2026, with the debut of Magic: The Gathering | Star Trek! We're firing up the ship's warp core and breaking out all the stops for a quadrant-spanning event. New cards, mechanics, and Booster Fun treatments await! The set's debut will broadcast the reveals on the official Magic: The Gathering YouTube channel and twitch.tv/magic, followed by the WeeklyMTG aftershow.

After the set's debut, we'll continue the reveals with previews from allies in every quadrant. If you're looking for all the previews in one place, we'll update the Magic: The Gathering | Star Trek Card Image Gallery every morning once previews begin, Monday through Friday. That means it will contain all the cards previewed the previous day (and earlier) but not the day of. The complete card image gallery will be available on October 30.

Your continuing mission to seek out new preview cards just got easier. Follow along with this set's previews and prepare for the release of Magic: The Gathering | Star Trek on November 13, 2026. This set is available for preorder now from your local game store, TCGplayer, Amazon, and elsewhere Magic is sold.
