Magic Levels Up with Extra Life for 2026
It's time for Magic: The Gathering and Wizards of the Coast's annual collaboration with Extra Life! Year after year, we've worked with our friends at Extra Life to raise funds in support of children's hospitals and show the world the power of gaming. Donations to Extra Life go directly to Children's Miracle Network, which supports hospitals that treat thousands of children every year. It's one of our most treasured initiatives here, and it's an opportunity to unite folks from across Wizards of the Coast for one extra-special cause.

Our collaboration spans a variety of events and initiatives, ranging from massive appearances at MagicCons to ways to support this cause through MTG Arena. No matter how you choose to team up with Extra Life, we're thrilled to have you as part of our adventuring party. Here's everything you need to know about this year's partnership with Extra Life!
Rise of the Polygons | Extra Life 2026
In 2024, Secret Lair went back to the 16-bit era for our collaboration with Extra Life. This year, we're jumping forward a console generation to the era of blocky polygons and charming sidekicks with advice on how to beat that one especially tricky puzzle. Rise of the Polygons | Extra Life 2026 lets you follow the path of the Young Pyromancer who needs to level up before they can take on the fearsome Balefire Dragon. As part of our team-up, fifty percent (50%) of the purchase price supports Extra Life and the kids and families at Seattle Children's Hospital.
Rise of the Polygons | Extra Life 2026 will be available at MagicSecretLair.com from November 16 to November 30 at 1 a.m. PT. Additionally, this drop will be available in limited quantities at the MagicCon: Atlanta merch booth from November 13 to November 15, 2026!

Extra Life Cosmetics on MTG Arena
We're bringing the fictional video game from Rise of the Polygons | Extra Life 2026 into the very real video game of MTG Arena! Two new bundles and a special emote will be available in the MTG Arena Store from November 16–30. All proceeds, less transaction fees, will be donated to Extra Life, benefiting Seattle Children's Hospital.
The first bundle includes five cosmetic sleeves featuring the artwork from Rise of the Polygons | Extra Life 2026. Take your spell-slinging decks to the next level with Brendan "Sully" Sullivan's take on Young Pyromancer, or transport your Dragon decks into the retro realm with Balefire Dragon.
Looking for sleeves that are more adorable than adventurous? Our second bundle features cosmetic sleeves with the artwork used throughout our 2026 collaboration with Extra Life. Illustrated by Anthony Garzonna, these sleeves show Ajani, Chandra, and a lovable gaming gizmo (we're taking suggestions for their name) in a charming style.

Finally, we're releasing an emote that shows Chandra and Ajani's friend-shaped companion groovin' and movin' in sticker form. Celebrate your well-earned wins with a bit of extra style.

Extra Life at MagicCon: Atlanta
We're headed to Atlanta, Georgia, for a thrilling weekend at MagicCon: Atlanta, where we'll be spotlighting Extra Life across the event! Members of Wizards of the Coast, Seattle Children's Hospital, and Extra Life will be at the Extra Life booth, sharing stories about their work and raising funds for this special cause. There, you'll be able to purchase Extra Life merchandise and copies of Rise of the Polygons | Extra Life 2026 while supplies last. That's right: You can get this Extra Life–themed drop extra early! Minus any third-party fees, 100% of the proceeds from our Extra Life merchandise and Rise of the Polygons | Extra Life 2026 will go toward Extra Life.

The Extra Life booth will also take part in MagicCon's beloved pin-trading program. Attendees who donate $20 will receive a pin featuring everyone's favorite exuberant explorer, Loot. If you're looking for shiny cards, donating $40 will get you a random Collector Booster! These are available while supplies last, so be sure to check out the booth early in the weekend.
While tickets to MagicCon: Atlanta are sold out, we want to give a special thank-you to the team behind Gavin Verhey's Unknown Event in support of Extra Life. These events are a phenomenal celebration of Magic's community and its ability to change the world. To everyone who registered, we hope you enjoy facing off against your friends for a great cause!
Extra Life Employee Takeover Streams
We think a bit of friendly competition (or just friendly conversation) makes charitable giving even more exciting. The employees of Wizards of the Coast will be taking the reins of twitch.tv/magic for a week-long employee takeover. Tune in through November 5 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. PT to see what chicanery our managers let us get up to.
During these streams, you'll learn more about why folks are so passionate about Extra Life. And if you love their mission as much as we do, we encourage you to donate directly to them! If you're interested in learning more about these streams or donating to Extra Life, you can visit the Extra Life website, where Wizards of the Coast and several members of our community will be supporting this amazing organization.
Working with Extra Life means so much to all of us here at Wizards, both because of how fun the festivities are and because of the life-changing funds we get to raise for children's hospitals. Keep an eye on twitch.tv/magic and our social media accounts for more information on how you can support Extra Life.
