Reality (our reality, that is) is not always kind. And the reality of the Panama Canal, of all things, means that some players in North America may experience some tightness around the supply of Reality Fracture Play Boosters in the weeks after the set's release on October 2, 2026.

The short version is that there is a drought in a freshwater lake in Panama that feeds the canal, and the lower water levels have created a bit of a traffic jam in the canal. One of the ships caught in that naval snarl is carrying a percentage of our Reality Fracture Play Boosters that are headed to North America, so supply will be tighter at launch than anticipated as those boosters make their way through the logjam.

For most stores and players, you're unlikely to notice an issue during Prerelease weekend or even release weekend. However, the supply of Play Boosters may dry up quickly. We currently expect a replenishment within a few weeks of the release of Reality Fracture. So, there may be a short period after the set's release where Play Boosters are hard to come by.

Based on current information, we expect this to only affect Play Boosters. All other Reality Fracture products are currently moving on schedule. We will update this article and communicate broadly if the timing changes or if there are any other updates.
