Reality Fracture Update Bulletin
Reality Fracture comes with some changes to Magic's game rules and the official text of a few cards. In addition to today's lesson from Hexhaven, we're excited to announce the Magic Rules Blog! The first installment is out today, so keep an eye out for more information from the Rules team.
Comprehensive Rules Changes
This is a summary of the rules changes planned for Magic with the release of Reality Fracture. The official rules can be found on our rules page. If there should be a discrepancy between this summary and the official rules, the official rules take precedence.
New and Updated Rules

New Keyword Action
701.71 is the new rule that describes what it means to empower Jace.
Combat (506.6)
A new rule defines what it means for a creature to attack a player alone. A creature "attacks a player alone" if it is the only creature declared as an attacker attacking a particular player. This ignores creatures attacking other players and creatures attacking any planeswalkers or battles.
Heartwood Token
A new subrule in 111.10 defines a Heartwood token.

Oracle Updates
A mere multiversal calamity won't stop us from making some Oracle updates! Here are the changes we've made, with the exception of some non-functional template corrections that don't bear mentioning.

Haste Without Waste

A Charming Reminder
Old text:
