Prerelease events are held at local game stores ahead of a Magic set's full release, letting you play with a set's cards ahead of their official launch! Build your collection and master the set's brand-new mechanics, then dive into the fun!

Yes, your local game store will supply the basic lands you need to play in a Prerelease. You're free to bring your own basics if you have a preferred set or use any basics you open in your Prerelease Pack.
