Reality: Fractured!

Reality Fracture has been live on MTG Arena for almost a week now! Time sure flies when reality is being fundamentally reshaped.

We hope you're having fun seeing your favorite Magic planes and their denizens turned upside down and inside out. How are we feeling about Jace's meddling? Anybody scoping out real estate in the Echoverse?

107788_Y26-FRA: Enter the Eternities 107794_Y26-FRA: Salvaged Imitations

Alchemy: Reality Fracture comes to MTG Arena next week! On October 13, this digital-only release will arrive bearing 31 cards, one of which features a spellbook packed with powerful cards that only multiple multiverses could muster. Stay tuned for more details as they emerge from the Echoverse!

Wizards Play Network Integration

Last week, we announced a host of new features that will allow you to link your experience playing MTG Arena with playing in-person events at your local WPN store! These new features include achievements, a new screen for your favorite stores, the ability to receive messages from stores you choose, and a carousel featuring events being held at your local WPN stores.

You may have noticed some of these updates in MTG Arena already, but if you're looking for a great guide, Max Manco wrote up a very handy article for exactly that purpose!

MTG Arena Client Downtime
(October 7)

MTG Arena will be undergoing maintenance on October 7, beginning at 6 a.m. PT. The maintenance is now expected to last 8 hours. During this time, all of our services will be down and play queues will be inaccessible.

Please visit the MTG Arena Status Page to see more status updates, and thank you for your patience!

Arena Direct for Reality Fracture
(October 2–11)

Reality Fracture's first Arena Direct event is underway! This event will continue to run through October 11 and is made up of Best-of-One matches of Reality Fracture Sealed. There are a variety of prizes available, including gems and MTG Arena packs for players who claim victory three to six times, and while supplies last, a Reality Fracture Collector Booster box can be earned by stacking up seven wins!

Please visit the Arena Direct page and the official terms and conditions for more details regarding this event.

Historic Pauper Metagame Challenge
(October 6–12)

Think you can turn 60 Historic commons into victory? We have a very specific way to find out! From October 6–12, MTG Arena's Historic Pauper Metagame Challenge is back, offering you the chance to participate in the wild fun of trying to turn a ragtag deck of MTG Arena's most available cards into a well-oiled winning machine.

Whether you're looking to challenge your capacity for creative deck building or cure a bout of option fatigue through exposure therapy, Historic Pauper poses a unique challenge. It requires you to construct a deck of at least 60 cards of common rarity that are legal in Historic (and up to seven cards in your sideboard, if you wish), with no more than four copies of any card allowed between your main deck and sideboard, except for basic lands. Then, it's time to see what other creations your fellow players have wrought and try to best them on the battlefield in Best-of-One matches!

  • Entry: 2,500 Gold or 500 Gems
  • Event Length: 7 Wins or 3 losses
  • Rewards:
    • 0 Wins = No rewards
    • 1 Win = 50 Gems
    • 2 Wins = 100 Gems and 1 Historic Booster pack
    • 3 Wins = 150 Gems and 1 Historic Booster pack
    • 4 Wins = 250 Gems and 1 Historic Booster pack
    • 5 Wins = 500 Gems and 2 Historic Booster packs
    • 6 Wins = 600 Gems and 2 Historic Booster packs
    • 7 Wins = 700 Gems and 3 Historic Booster packs
