Delve into Duskmourn with the Debut

At PAX West, we introduced the world to Duskmourn: House of Horror, kicking off "The 13 Days of Duskmourn," a terrifying and terrific event where you can see all the new cards from this ghoulish set. During the debut, fans got a chance to see exciting new mechanics like manifest dread, as well as the morbid modality of Room cards.

You can check out the panel in the video above, or read more about the mechanics or how to collect Duskmourn: House of Horror right here on DailyMTG.

Five New Brawl Decks Now in the MTG Arena Store

Pick up and play preconstructed decks, available now

It's all about Brawl with the newest preconstructed decks you can purchase from the MTG Arena Store. We have five that'll get you playing in Brawl matches right away.

As with the previous preconstructed decks, the price of these decks is prorated, and you only purchase cards that are missing from your collection. For each copy of a card already in your collection that is in these decks, the total gem price is reduced at a scaling rate based on the rarity of the card.

Check out all five decks in the MTG Arena Store to see the exact versions of the cards in each deck.

Qualify for Exciting Events at the Timeless Qualifier Play-In

Best-of-One Qualifier Play-In, September 7, Best-of-Three Qualifier Play-In, September 13

This month's Qualifier Play-Ins are on September 7 and 13, and they're your chance to win prizes and qualify for the Qualifier Weekend in MTG Arena's most powerful format: Timeless.

Timeless is a format where every card on MTG Arena is legal, with a handful of cards being restricted to one copy per deck. That means that it's your chance to dust off cards like Oko, Thief of Crowns, Demonic Tutor, and Field of the Dead. Fetchlands will be cracked, extra turns will be taken, and cards will be exiled to evoke Elementals. It’s a weekend you won't want to miss.

Those who claim the requisite number of wins—six for Best-of-One, four for Best-of-Three—will earn an entry to the September Qualifier Weekend that decides who will be among the first to be invited to compete in Arena Championship 8. It could be your first step on the path to Magic greatness, so get those decks ready.

Celebrate Yargle Day in Midweek Magic This Week!

Yargle, Glutton of Urborg

Unhinge your jaws and celebrate the biggest mouth in Magic! Yargle Day happens every year on September 3 (that's 9/3, get it?), but just like the big guy's mouth, we're stretching the celebration wiiiiiiiide with an an extra-long event in Midweek Magic we're calling simply GNSHAAGHKKAPPHRIIBIT. You know how to pronounce it don't you? Just smack your lips together and splutter (for proper enunciation, perform with a mouthful of ice cubes).

What makes GNSHAAGHKKAPPHRIIBIT special? First, it's an all-access event, meaning you can play with any cards in MTG Arena, no matter if you have them in your collection or not. Second, it's a Brawl Frog free-for-all where you choose any legendary Frog—and Tatsunari, Toad Rider counts—to head up your 100-card Brawl deck. And third? The magic of Yargle pervades, so all of your Frogs will be cheaper to play and hungry for power.

Play GNSHAAGHKKAPPHRIIBIT right now and as much as you want until this Thursday, September 5, at 2 p.m. PT!
