(September 25–October 1)
Prerelease Pack
Your introduction to the Echoverse begins on September 25, 2026, with Reality Fracture Prerelease events! This is a premier way to learn the ins and outs of a new set and test out the new cards you're most excited to play with. And most importantly, you get to do it all alongside your fellow Magic fans at your local game store!
You'll construct a 40-card sealed deck out of the contents of a Reality Fracture Prerelease Pack and any number of basic lands. Each Reality Fracture Prerelease Pack contains the following:
- 6 Reality Fracture Play Boosters
- 1 Traditional foil promo card
- 1 Deck box
- 1 Spindown die
Additionally, if you preordered any Reality Fracture products from your local game store, you can pick those up starting on September 25 as long as they're available! Play in your local game store's Prerelease, then bring home your new Multiverse Reforged Commander deck. That's the kind of evening that would make Jace proud.
A Note on Two-Headed Giant Prerelease Events
Some local game stores offer Two-Headed Giant Prerelease events, where teams of two build and play their decks against other duos! Starting with Reality Fracture, we're changing how these versions of Prerelease events are run. Each pair of players will receive a Prerelease Pack and two Play Boosters to construct their sealed decks. We're making this change for several reasons, but our primary goal is to replicate the deck building of one-on-one Sealed and make these events more accessible to players.

Magic Academy with Reality Fracture
(October 2–November 5)
Learn what makes Magic so, well, magical at Magic Academy! These events teach you the fundamentals of Magic, from the mana system to deck building. If you're new to the game, looking to introduce a friend, or want to brush up on your knowledge of Magic, these are the events for you!

There are two types of Magic Academy events. Learn to Play events are for players who are just starting to play Magic. These events use the Magic Multiverse Welcome Decks from earlier this year. Deck Building events teach players to construct a deck of out of six Reality Fracture Play Boosters. You'll watch a short tutorial video at the start of the event then build a deck of your own from the contents of your Play Boosters.

Two-Headed Giant Commander Night
(October 2–November 5)
Find your Echoverse counterpart (or just a Magic-playing friend) and head to your local game store's Two-Headed Giant Commander Nights! These events feature Two-Headed Giant Commander, a variant of Commander that puts teamwork at the forefront. Register with your chosen teammate or get paired with a new ally. Either way, you're in for some great games of multiplayer Magic!
This crystal ball bears a striking portent: you're going to have lots of fun at these events! Attendees will receive a retro frame Crystal Ball promo card, with art by Ron Spencer, while supplies last. Non-foil copies will be available at most WPN retailers, while traditional foil copies will be available at WPN Premium locations. For more information on these events, contact your local game store!
Standard Showdown
(October 2–November 5)
Have you heard the news? Chandra, Torch of Defiance is headed back to Standard! She's bringing even more exciting cards from Reality Fracture that you can play at your local game store's Standard Showdown events. These events feature Standard Constructed and cultivate a more competitive environment than your average event.
Jace's villain arc could certainly be described as a "tragic trajectory" for the Multiverse, but this promo card is far from tragic! The winner of each Reality Fracture Standard Showdown event will receive a traditional foil, retro frame Tragic Trajectory promo card, with art by Ovidio Cartagena (one of Wizards of the Coast's own art directors), while supplies last. Contact your local game store for more information on their Standard Showdown events.
Reality Fracture Store Championship
(October 9–November 5)
Prove you're the best in the Multiverse and the Echoverse at Reality Fracture Store Championship events! These are some of the most competitive Standard events at your local game store, and they feature promo cards to match that level of competition! For Reality Fracture, these Store Championship promo cards are tied directly to the story of the set, depicting various moments from Jace's master plan.
Store Championship participants will receive a non-foil, full-art Thought Scour promo card, featuring artwork by Eli Minaya, while supplies last. Here, Jace draws knowledge about the layout of the Multiverse from Loot.
The Top 8 players of each Store Championship event will receive a traditional foil, full-art Mastermind's Acquisition promo card with art by Sam Guay. Looks like Jace is searching his library for the final pieces he needs to make his visions a reality.
The Detective, the Guildpact, the Theorist, and more make up the man we know as Jace Beleren, and we're putting him front and center on this promo card! The winner of each Store Championship will receive a traditional foil borderless Jace Reawakened promo card with art by Billy Christian.

Commander Party
(October 9–5 and October 23–29)
Reality has gone haywire! For this set's Commander Party events, we're sending you hurtling into the center of the Echoverse, where Jace's abilities will take over your Commander games. Bring your favorite deck (perhaps one helmed by Jace, Vryn's Prodigy) and embrace the chaos—because that's the only way you'll survive.
Over the course of the game, players will continually add cards to The Rift, which can be cast by anyone. When you cast a spell this way, you'll empower Jace. (For more information on what that means, check out the mechanics article.) Additionally, all Jace tokens have an extra suite of abilities that draws from the faces of Jaces past.
Here are a few abilities you can find at Commander Party events!
Participants will receive the previously described Crystal Ball promo card while supplies last. Contact your local game store for more information on these events, and make some space for Jace in your life.
Magic Presents: Reality Echoes
(October 16–November 5)
Join us for some mirrored mayhem at Magic Presents: Reality Echoes. This event features Reality Fracture Pick-Two Draft, but with a twist!
Every Reality Fracture Play Booster includes two cards from the same set of echoed pairs. One card depicts a denizen of the Magic Multiverse, and another card depicts the Echoverse's counterpart. At Magic Presents: Reality Echoes, you'll play Pick-Two Draft and can start your game with both echoed pairs cards in exile. You can choose to cast one and shuffle the other card into your library. Draw upon Liliana the Faultless and Liliana the Repentant; Ajani Resolute and Ajani Unrelenting; or the ever-so-fearsome pair of Tinybones, Pocket Nuisance and Titanbones, Towering Heart.
Other than this Multiverse-bending twist, you'll play Reality Fracture Limited as usual. Players who go undefeated will receive a special Reality Fracture enamel pin while supplies last. Additionally, participants who register with a WPN account that's been activated in MTG Arena will receive a virtual reward in the form of three Reality Fracture packs on MTG Arena.

Magic Spotlight: Fracture
(October 23–25 in Hartford and October 31–November 1 in Beijing)
Mind sculptor. Cunning castaway. Architect of thought. Jace has earned many titles, and it's time for you to claim your own matching epithet: champion of Magic Spotlight: Fracture! Join us for a massive open-field Standard Constructed event with a $50,000 prize pool, special promo cards, and invitations to an upcoming Pro Tour on the line. Hey, Jace? Whatcha got there? It's probably nothing to worry about. Each competitor will receive a non-foil Jace Beleren promo card featuring artwork by Cristi Balanescu. The Top 128 players at each event will also receive traditional foil copies of this promo card.
In addition, the Top 8 players in each main event will receive invitations to an upcoming Pro Tour. The winner of each event will also receive a stunning Black Lotus-themed trophy adorned with the set symbol for Reality Fracture.
Spotlight Series events are open to everyone. All you need to do is register to compete, and you could secure your spot at the Pro Tour. But you do need to register, so contact your event's organizer to secure your spot at Magic Spotlight: Fracture!
Magic Presents: All Leylines' Eve
(October 30–November 5)
What's scarier than your opponent holding up open mana? Your opponent holding up open mana … that could be anything! Join us for Magic Presents: All Leylines' Eve this fall for surprise-packed spellcasting!
Players will draft from a random array of boosters supplied by their local game store. The exact boosters used will depend on your store, so expect the unexpected. Players will draft using these boosters and construct a 40-card deck as usual.
Players will begin each game with a traditional foil Leyline of Anticipation promo card on the battlefield. This promo card features art by Alexandr Leskinen and is available while supplies last. At the end of the event, participants will take home their Leyline of Anticipation promo card as a flashy keepsake from the event. Additionally, participants who register with a WPN account that's been activated in MTG Arena will receive a virtual reward in the form of three Duskmourn: House of Horror packs on MTG Arena.

Eternal Weekend North America
(October 29–November 1)
Our first Eternal Weekend event of 2026 is fast approaching! Join us in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, for Eternal Weekend North America, a weekend-long celebration of Magic's Eternal formats like Legacy, Vintage, and more. These events draw in attendees from across the globe in search of competition and camaraderie, so get ready to meet new friends and compete for special promo cards!
Each Eternal Weekend event will host a Legacy Championship and Vintage Championship. The Top 32 players of each Legacy Championship will receive a non-foil retro frame Life from the Loam promo card with art by Hristo D. Chukov, while the Top 32 players of each Vintage Championship will receive a non-foil retro frame Treasure Cruise promo card with art by Ralph Horsley. The Top 8 players of each of these events will also receive traditional foil versions of their respective promo cards.
Please note that the new-to-Magic cards from Mystery Booster Commander Edition will not be legal in Legacy and Vintage until January 1, 2027. For more information on these cards, see this article.

Regional Championship Qualifiers and Upcoming Regional Championships
The current round of Regional Championship Qualifiers (RCQs) is underway, pitting players against each other for the chance to qualify for Regional Championship events! The current round of RCQs runs until November 29, 2026. RCQs at WPN game stores can be held as Standard Constructed or Limited events. Larger events that are designated as "destination" qualifiers may be run as other Constructed formats.
During this round, all Regional Championship Qualifier participants will receive a non-foil Sunpearl Kirin promo card with art by kelogsloops. Top Finishers will also receive a non-foil Pinnacle Starcage promo card with art by Princess Hidir, and players who qualify for a Regional Championship will also receive a traditional foil Pinnacle Starcage promo card. Promo cards are available while supplies last. Contact your event's organizer for more information on how they plan to distribute these promo cards.
The next step on your competitive Magic journey is your Regional Championship, and the next round of Regional Championships kicks off on September 11, 2026. These Regional Championships will feature Modern Constructed, and Top Finishers will earn invitations to Pro Tour Nauctis, to be held at MagicCon: Detroit on February 26–28, 2027.
All participants at this round of Regional Championships will receive a non-foil textless Kozilek's Command promo card with art by Mike Burns, with Top Finishers receiving traditional foil copies. Promo cards are available while supplies last. Contact your Regional Championship's organizer for further information on these promo cards and more!
